The leaf spring is an important component of any kind of heavy vehicle as it defines the way in which the suspension system is going to work. The leaf springs are normally constructed with one or additional strips of metal that maintain the balance of the vehicle. Usually, these metal strips are made from high quality stainless steel. The semi elliptical structure of the leaf springs tends to become straighter and longer. The spring alignment clips can prevent the leaf springs from effectively separating from the main structure anytime the vehicle hits the bumps on the roads.

They are the mainstay of the front suspension of numerous trucks, particularly the heavy and medium range trucks.
